As the Compliance Strategies and Critical Initiative Project Manager, Michael who founded Tax Exempt Advisory Services lead and implemented changes from a project approach to the management of data and analytic strategies.

In 2014 Michael oversaw, developed and implemented the 990 Series Case Selection Models which are used to select information return and split interest trusts from Form(s) 990, 990-PF, 990-EZ, and 5227 for potential IRS examinations in the Tax Exempt and Government Entities Division. 

This model concept scores all filed returns identifying the population with the greatest likelihood of non-compliance issues, providing transparency and removing subjectivity in case selection. It applies a systematic method to identify and effectively provide a virtual shelf of returns for possible TE/GE examinations.
